A great compilation of power pop punk material recorded in 1977 by the new wave acts signed to the EMI subsidary Harvest, a record label more well known for some decent Deep Purple, The Move, Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett releases in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.
All the bands on this compilation are worthy of inclusion on this LP, The Saints, are of course complete bliss to the ears, as are Wire and The Fly’s. The other band’s tracks follow along nicely enough.
