anyone know if he is still making music?got to see him in manchester in 1986 but didnt recognise the stuff he performed that night so it was a bit of a dissapointment.
also wonder what people who played in bands back then are doing now ,making new music still?

Which song was the one that had the line:

“…and all I want from life is a bus to take me home”?

    That was my favourite.

The young and fresh-faced Jah Pork Pie (indeed while in his pre-Pork nom-de-guerre as “Pig Ignorant”) was introduced to the delights of P Fitz by Mr W Stain of Plaistow, but sadly I had my PF stuff nicked along with all my other records and clothes at Campbell Buildings 28 years ago (and I’m sure someone on here will know who had them too!)

I was thinking of that song ” All my friends are dead now, tried to be a bit to brave,>looking round they tried to find a different kind of life to lead”. “A knife wound here a knife wound there and razored faces all around, so some of them have just gone back to dressing normal”
After that attack on those goths a month or so ago

Yep, there are still some ignorant and intolerant bastards around. I find they look a bit different now though – difficult to tell who’s cool and who isn’t by looking at them these days. I got a good kicking a few years ago from a bunch of idiots who looked like hippies: ponytails, old trainers, jeans etc. My crime was to pull somebody back in the door of a party when they were trying to pull them out to beat up on them. Ended up getting yanked out the door myself and being kicked unconscious.

It occurs to me that their lives are so meaningless that they haven’t got anything else to take out their anger on. Or maybe that they aren’t brave enough to look a bit different themselves so they hunt in packs and teach anyone who is brave enough to look different “a lesson”. On second thoughts, though, I don’t think they’d have the level of intellect necessary to think through that one.

Jah, the song you’re thinking of was his 3rd single called, “All Sown Up”
He’s been doing a UK tour that I think has just finished (?)
He’s playing the Fleece & Firkin in Bristol on the 24th of February supporting The Mob. Also appearing will be Idiot Strength, Shocks of Mighty and Hagar The Womb
