The first reviews for Baron Von Zubb’s book ‘The Joys Of Work’ ISBN 9781409245964 available from lulu.com or shortcut HERE

“I found that reading this book whilst listening to bass heavy JA Dub and militant steppers reggae music is the perfect way to entertain ones self on a Sunday afternoon and I would recommend anyone else to experience this combination”

Mrs Klunkworthy (aged 80), Richmond.

“This book will change your life, it did mine”

Mr J Saltiel, Garageland on Thames.

“Go on give it to ’em my son, loved the plod bashing parts, very early eighties”

Johnny Reggae, Hackney, London.

“A rollercoaster romp through differcult times – no sympathy for these people…the characters in this book all deserve a good thrashing and a stint in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces”

Major Tom, Ground Control, Ealing.

“An alternative punk squat social history concerning the late 1970’s and early 1980’s written by someone who was there, I thought it was great – a modern day Dickensian tale of strife”

M. Thatcher, Downing Street squatter 1979 – 1990

“Call this a birthday present? For fucks sake…”

Iain Aitch, Harringey, London

I read this and its a complete load of olde bollox.
I doubt if the ‘author’ was even there.
A load of twoddle about some geriatric hospital & running about chucking imaginary fire bombs in imaginary street battles.
Most dissapointing that KYPP is plugging it…

Candy you’re just jealous cos you didnt get a mention..
Brilliant. Un-putdownable tome about how it really was for our generation of punks and myself.
So realistic & immediate that I could smell the squats by the end of it. Interesting polemic also about the ideas we all haven’t talked about for 30 years. All the more relevent now we’re in a recession…Not my fault this time.
