A.T.O.H. What a brilliant band, they came from a nearby Cumbrian town Ambleside in the Lake District, not far from me, seen them play in Cleator Moor with Psycho Faction (P.F. last gig in fact). Chris the drummer who took his own life in 1996 also played for Lush. A Touch Of Hysteria got back together in 2006 for a tribute to Chris, 10 years after his death, with Kerry standing in on the drums, for a one off show at Kendel Brewery Arts Centre with another of Chris’s old bands, Hardskin. It was a great night. The tape released by 96 tapes has been put on 12″ vinyl by Sean Forbes new record label ‘Demo Tapes’ comes with a fold out sleeve, I think you can still get it, email Sean at Rough Trade for more info. Thanks for the scan of the 96 release tape cover, as I have the cover that came with the release from the band, before Rob/Sean got to release it. By the way your site is excellent, I have most of your KYPP’s but missed out on No 1. Cheers Trunt. p.s. I have a few other 96 tape releases if you want any copy’s for your site.

“Hello Tony, my name is Kerry and I used to live with the band A.T.O.H, we were all at school together. We were from Cumbria but came to London quite regular. I dont know if you remember but we all came to Puppy Mansions to talk about doing the split EP with The Mob on All The Madmen which for one reason or another never happened.
Anyway the singer was called Larger if that rings any bells, he was friends with Mark and Josef.
The reason I have contacted you is, about a year ago, we did a remembrance gig for Chris Ackland, he was the drummer for the band who sadly died ten years ago.
For the event me and Sean Forbes, you probably know from 69 Tapes had the original demo pressed on to 12″ record.
Now I have a few of the these left and for obvious reasons I want them to go to people who have an interest in the band, not record collectors.
Would it be possible to put it on to the web site with my details of how to obtain it, I would be very greatful.
All the best, fucking great site.”

I can vouch for this release as I have it also via Sean Forbes – very nice package and a wonderful sound on it.
Email Kerry or phone to get details of how to grab one of the 200 copies pressed.
