Dads / Habits / We Do Scare Each Other / Order And Obey / He Feels Like A Doris / Part Time Punks
More Mark Perry related goodies, use search function for many more on this site. This LP engineered by Grant Showbiz, this time at Dirt Cheap Studio Club, was this a joke name for Streetlevel maybe? Anyhow Mark Perry, Nag and Bendle all involved in the deconstruction of music on this release especially on the cover version of the Television Personalities ‘Part Time Punks’.

February 7, 2008 at 10:59 amThis LP is certainly a more ‘song’-based version of TDATW (perhaps due to Mark P’s input?)…
I prefer ‘He Feels like a Doris’ from the Ep to the version here (although this version is quite proto-Doom Metal in its own way!)…I remember listening to the EP version when I was 12 and being horribly entranced by the overall abstraction – and what a great title!

just found this page by accident looking for something else – its weird but nice that anyone is bothered after all these years. I don’t have a copy of permanent transience myself! but some of our stuff is at http://www.myspace.com/thedoorandthewindow
