September 10, 2008 at 11:49 amYou don’t like puppies, well who can blame you, they piss everywhere. chew everything up when you go out, they get excitable and bite you and embarrass you in public, in fact they are far too similiar to punks for your liking.

September 10, 2008 at 5:15 pmMumble mumble mumble – speak up!
Well, this was just a test to see if I could do it, shoot footage, edit it and put it on youtube.
anyone know how to turn it the right way up?
And it’s MPEG4, the editing software says I’ll have to pay if I want to edit MPEG4 after 13 more days. Any ideas of free editing software that allows MPEG4 editing?

September 10, 2008 at 5:31 pmYou have to do that before you post it on you tube, just turn it round in my pictures and re-post it, that would be the easiest. Perhaps you already did that and it did’nt work, try that picasso free thingy from filehippo,

September 10, 2008 at 6:14 pmTony, can you edit it so you have a studded leather jacket, mohawk and a mushroom cloud going upwards behind you. We need to stick to the 1982 Anarcho Punk Rule Book chap 42 section 5 as mentioned on another comment on another post on this site?
Carl
September 10, 2008 at 7:48 pmVery Good that Tony, but Im with Penguin in that I had to have my head at a wonky angle to watch it !!!
And the 1982 Anarcho Punk Rule Book….This would mean that you would have stood on the table, shouted “Punk’s Not Dead” and then fell off the table in a drunken stupor !!
Nic
September 11, 2008 at 8:50 amIs it Punk / Anarcho Punk to wear a watch?
I’m sure there’s a footnote or small clause about this in the Rule Book: it could well be in Chapter 42, although Chapter 44 seems plausible…

September 11, 2008 at 9:08 amHe should be covered in gob as well, and where is that bottle of cidar, come to think of it how come he is sober, however he is still lop sided, i reckon it would be an infringement of the rules to straighten him out anyway. i take it that picarsehole thing did not work, that was a damn quick visit to san franscisco nik

September 11, 2008 at 11:08 amEnjoy yourself then Nik, how many gigs have you been to then Nik, it must be thousands by now, anyway when you get back drop us a line and I’ll sort that Napalm death interview out for you, you know the taped one, I have some recordings of you from the Mermaid as well, and other stuff from antiquity, But I don’t have your email or address or phone number, I mistook your email for spam. and my computer has been through the wars a bit, here is my email anyway. Andynunn@blueyonder.co.uk.

September 11, 2008 at 1:20 pmIt is absolutely thousands Andus – too many…
๐
I’ll send you an email when I get back, and I’ll come down your end for a meet-up…
The Approximately Infinite Tour is coming through Brum while I’m away (on the 23rd)…featuring Fursaxa, Skaters, Islaja, Axolotl, Es, Kemialliset Ystavat and more of the best of the Finnish and American freeform units, it should be a total lo-fi psych-drone trance show…
Don’t forget the concert on 1st November that features Om, Wooden Shjips, Pissed Jeans, Lightning Bolt and Shellac: what a great line-up!!!

September 11, 2008 at 1:53 pmOk fine, i am up to skinnies this afternoon, me and skinnie are in the process of trying to put some music to my poetry, he does’nt understand avant garde though, well i saw the Cracked actors Sunday night brilliant band, not your type though Nic, ska-punk, I met this 18 year old punk with The Amebix on his back, I gave him some stories from the old days. He asked me if I had heard of Doom. ha ha, love it. Us Grandads eh.

September 11, 2008 at 3:39 pmFurther to Tony’s complete disregard to the Anarcho Punk handbook, I must also point out that the video clip has no picture of a “mangy” dog on a bit of string.

September 14, 2008 at 6:52 pmYes, but where was the mention of my groundbreaking fanzine, ‘Fuck Your Pet Puppy and Kill Your Mother’? Very disingenuous not to mention my influence on your own fanzine, Tony…

September 14, 2008 at 9:29 pmAmerican pop-punksters Blink 182 had a song which goes “I wanna fuck your dog up the ass” and ” I wanna fuck your mom up the ass”. My kids used to play it a few years ago.
Stewart
September 16, 2008 at 7:30 pmYes, well, as a children’s social worker i feel i must say here: “KIDS! It is NEVER a good idea to fuck your dog up the ass”
Stewart
September 16, 2008 at 7:31 pmOR your ‘mom’ come to think of it… You’ll only end up on the naughty step, and you don’t want that, now do you????

September 16, 2008 at 10:35 pmFurther to Stewart’s very sound advice to any impressionable young (or older) people who may have stumbled across KYPP by accident whilst looking for advice on the care and maintenance of family pets, I hope it is quite clear that when I said “My kids used to play it”, I was referring to the song by Blink 182 and to not any of the actions suggested -even as play- by the group in the song.

September 28, 2008 at 10:20 amRe video editing software, there should be plenty of open source programs out there which will do what you want. I use ‘Open Movie Editor’ which outputs as MP4 format (amongst others), this runs under Linux, but I’m not sure if a Windows version is available as yet. But I’m sure there are many others. Anyway, check it out at http://www.openmovieeditor.org/

September 29, 2008 at 7:43 pmFollowing on from Graham’s comment ffmpg will probably convert to a format you can work with and is cross platform.

September 30, 2008 at 11:06 amDid you watch the video at the top of this thread, Sully?
It might help explain what “all this” is about…

November 20, 2011 at 12:30 pmI was reading all these comments in the hope that I might discover who the interviewer was but don’t see it anywhere.
Anyone know who it was? The voice sounds familiar and that cheeky laugh at the end sounds a lot like Gerard (flowers in the Dustbin)
