Television Personalities<\/strong> – Three Wishes<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\nThe first LP released on Creation Records, is a bit of a patchy affair. Still has some charm and some great bands, The Loft and Pastels tracks\u00a0are pretty good. Recorded, with varying degrees of satisfaction, on hand held recorders from the crowd, no doubt above the Roebuck pub in Tottenham Court Road, in London’s west end. The\u00a0club had moved around different venues a\u00a0little bit before settling in\u00a0the Roebuck, so not entirely sure that all the tapes were recorded\u00a0there for this LP.<\/p>\n
Not a great LP\u00a0but a\u00a0little bit of Creation Records history never the less, and of course after Jesus And Marychain and Primal Scream released debut 7″ singles for the label a little later on,\u00a0in 1984 and 1985, things went very well for the label for a little while.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
