Fifty years ago this week a boy was born.<\/p>\n
The boy was born in a year that produced the\u00a0debut recording by a young Shirley Bassey, a\u00a010\u2033 LP where every title on the platter had the word \u2018Blues\u2019 in it.<\/p>\n
Elvis Presley was still very popular (with the youth who\u00a0had chosen to\u00a0not to look like their fathers) after releasing \u2018Heartbreak Hotel\u2019 a couple of years previously.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Brazil football team ,with a young boy called Pele, won the F.I.F.A World Cup in Sweden for the first time.<\/p>\n
This was a\u00a0time when the United Kingdom was called Great Britain, and National Service was still compulsory.<\/p>\n
Tony Drayton, as the boy was named, grew up in this era, no wonder he wanted \u2018out\u2019 at an early age.<\/p>\n
