A record with no artistic pretensions what so ever, more like, do bag loads of speed, get some booze in and have a laugh with the boys and see what comes out! No doubt various Not Sensibles and Fall members may have helped this recording get underway.\u00a0The track Gloria I think has the ghost of Stirling Morrison playing a VU guitar line through it, and Senegal is certainly not Jeff Buckley but is great never the less.<\/p>\n

John The Postman was infamous for hi-jacking the mic during early punk gigs (indeed the first ever punk gigs as we\u00a0know\u00a0them now outside London) in Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall and Electric Circus and no doubt any other music venue supporting punk music of 1976. After a while he actually went from stealing the mic to actually being invited to perform in his own right, and of course some nutter paid for him to go into a studio for at least two LP’s in the late 1970’s. This being the second LP. The first LP I do not own, but would like to, is called ‘Purile’.<\/p>\n
