Beautifully engineered sometimes very delicately\u00a0by Pete Fender deep in the Poison Girl\u2019s basement studio in Leyton, the tracks on this record are all wonderful statements and a credit to the band and engineer alike.<\/p>\n<p>The feeling in the track \u2018My Tears\u2019 is akin to The Mob\u2019s \u2018Our Life Our World\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Sit back and listen to this wonderful work released on Corpus Christi,\u00a0the attention you place into listening to it\u00a0will not be wasted\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Text below ripped from da wikks and the live performance photographs are from the personal collection of Jim Wafford, thank you for the lend Jim.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/i192.photobucket.com\/albums\/z149\/pengy1966\/scan927.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"605\" height=\"475\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Omega Tribe was an English anarcho-punk band, formed in Barnet in 1981. Their first EP \u2018Angry Songs\u2019, was produced by Penny Rimbaud and Pete Fender for Crass Records in 1982.<\/p>\n<p>Their subsequent LP \u2018No Love Lost\u2019 (released by Corpus Christi Records 1983) won the hearts of many hardened anarchos and secured their place in anarcho-punk history. A far more melodic style, encouraged by producer and new guitarist Pete Fender, created a highly influential template that many other bands were to build on.<\/p>\n<p>They released a cassette only live release on BBP tapes in 1984.<\/p>\n<p>In 1984 Sonny Flint joined on drums, and they took on a sax and flute player Jane. Peter the original drummer switched to playing percussion.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/i192.photobucket.com\/albums\/z149\/pengy1966\/scan009.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"445\" height=\"639\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pete Fender departed early in 1984, after a memorable year for Omega Tribe.
